Collar Styles explained

NBS stands for No Buckle Slide. NBS is a style of collar similar to your typical standard buckle collar. Minus the buckle of course! This style is made to slide over your dog's head. Adjust it once so that it is snug and then all thats left to do is attach your leash and go!

Martingale collars are designed to slide over your dog's head and tighten when leash pressure is applied. The loop in the center is what helps the collar tighten around your dog's neck. Fabric Martingales are safe for all dogs because the pressure added when it tightens is distributed evenly across your dog's neck, unlike a flat collar. These collars do have a stopping point and it won’t continue to close once it reaches the end of the loop. These are a safe & reliable option if your dog has a habit of slipping collars.

A Full Slip collar is another form a collar that tightens when pressure is applied. Unlike the fabric martingale & limited slip, this style is not adjustable as it’s made to fit your dog's head (with some wiggle room of course). This style also is able to fully tighten which means it is impossible for a dog to slip out of. This is a great option for those rowdy dogs that thrash their collars off or dogs prone to choose flight in a situation. 

The limited slip style is very similar to a full slip except it’s made to have a stopping point so that way it can only tighten as much as you allow. This style also has the bonus of being adjustable! 

Chain Martingales are made exactly like fabric martingales with the addition of using a chain “loop” instead of a fabric one. This is a great option if you prefer this aesthetic. This style of martingale is NOT adjustable and is made exactly to your measurements.  

Metal Buckle collars are a very popular style, ease of putting the collar on by not slipping it over the head, classic sleek look of a metal buckle and just a generally good & sturdy everyday collar.
I would highly suggest against this option if you have a dog prone to slipping out of their collars. 

Triple layer collars are limited to only a few styles but they are made the same with webbing + fabric with the addition of a third layer made of vinyl. The third layer can be sparkly, glow in the dark or matte and adds a nice pop of color to an already fun looking collar !

Triple layers can be made into an NBS style, Chain Martingale, Fabric martingale or Buckle style. Because this type of collar has a thick layer it is made NON adjustable, sizing much be accurate.
